ABOUT ME

I am a freelance agricultural journalist with over 10 year’s experience working across a wide range of national and regional farming media.

After graduating from the Royal Agricultural University with a degree in agriculture, I decided I wanted to combine my passion for farming with my love of writing, and began my career at a regional farming paper. During this time I became qualified with a diploma in journalism from the National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ).

After a good stint abroad working on farms around the world, I landed a job back in England in agricultural PR serving a broad range of clients, but predominantly working with ag-chemical and seed companies.

In 2018 I joined Farmers Guardian and Arable Farming magazine as an arable specialist, where I spent 6 years developing arable content across the company’s media and events brands.

Now, when I’m not busy writing, you will find me on my tenant farm in Warwickshire, which I run with my partner. We grow commercial-scale fresh produce, as well as arable crops, keep pedigree livestock, and run a range of diversification projects in the form of public-facing events.
